Religion is a weapon of Satan, that’s entire point is to mentally condition you to reject god based upon the false premise that you had to stop sinning to be saved.
Which is why 2,500 years of religious atrocities come out of athiests mouths and they’re completely then dumbfounded to find that I still agree with them. What, you thought that religious people killing the prophets, god incarnate, his apostles and his disciples wasn’t obvious for you? It’s a false dichotomy anon, and the gospel implies that quite well. If you interpret your salvation to based on anything other than what Jesus already did at the cross, the entire book becomes skewed because faith functions on an axiom, and if you don’t have faith in God, you end up decieving yourself into thinking you had something to do with it, so when you read the book you think it’s asking you to be perfect, even when you can acknowledge that it says that’s impossible for man.
Please, if you’re going to continue to bash Christians and intentionally misrepresent what the gospel means, don’t use a memeflag while being paid by the hour.
The book is asking for what religious people would call “easy Believism” in a mocking gesture while treating God like he’s some sort of avid over bearing task master. As if forced cohesion is what God wants when it’s clearly given he went to the cross out of love for helpless beings.
