The world can be a cruel and unforgiving place, the world can also be a wonderland but it comes off as eerie and unwelcoming to you.
We all have our moments where go through some sort of mental turmoil we have to reconcile in some way, people use drugs, alcohol, women, money, power to make themselves feel better about it.
But does that ever fix the root of the problem in the end?
You give your problem a barrier the durability of a glass house while simotaneously creating harm and evil onto others, the cycle repeats and you find yourself into an even worse place when your problem comes back crashing down on you.
You need friends, real genuine friends, not "connections", you need a pure soul.
When i say soul i don't mean it in any sort of religious way, rather you cannot base yourself and your worth and what's worth pursuing on something that's temporary.
Your body will age and wrinkle one day, the alcohol will make you an addict, drugs will push you to OD, money is useless to a person after one has enough to cover their living and entertainment needs and power is used by the most evil and decrepit people to make the world a worse place for everybody.
If your ideals lead you to realize this, despite your experiences and world telling you otherwise, you would find yourself into a whole different world mentally.
You will find people who reached the same conclusion, you will realize the nonsense of taboo and discrimination for things that you might find interesting to pursue and start doing activities you have realized you like.
At the end of it all you will be a new person who uses your given conscience to learn new things everyday, maybe learn to sing, play an instrument, play a game, walk the dog, even if you just eat shit and sleep or if you're sick and bedbound all your life, more than memories made in one's image, it's within the tiny fragments that remain drifting off where the value of life lies.
