>>21445064I was originally studying to get an Associate of Applied Science degree and (among other things) took a year of gender studies during my hardcore feminist faze. After two years I got sick of school and decided to just get my certificates in automotive and chose not to fishing getting my AAS ‘cuz I realized it was basically useless. I could still go back to get it but why bother? Employers don’t cares about degrees, they want experience, and I’m luckily at the point where I’ve got enough work history I don’t have any issues nailing good jobs. Literally all it takes to get into an interview is a well written resume that embellishes your experience a little and a certificate or two then once you’re in the interviewer’s chair nail the job with your amazing people skills. It’s literally that easy, like 4/5 jobs I’ve interviewed for offered me the position. College is literally a scam.
