Blu-ray or seasonal content that you watch together and you choose (Looney Tunes, early Disney, etc.) is the way to go if you have to have "content" instead of activities and self/group play. The problem with YouTube or other internet content (Netflix, Prime, etc. unsupervised included) is the algorithmic nature. They get pushed degeneracy and brain rot. Good content has storylines with long-term payoffs and call-backs - this is to train delayed gratification and recall. Modern internet brain rot has none of this. In fact it trains the opposite: constant stimulation with anything that gets attention.
