>>21481178Yep it's cast iron, I just read the little instruction manual and it says I have to boil water 2-3 times then clean it with some warm water with soap, after that coat it with high temp oil and baked it in the oven so the oil sticks - it's called seasoning or something. I'm so glad I read it because I was going to bake tomorrow. You have to boil out the manufacturing oils and stuff..
