I played Fallout 4 recently and it was one of the worst gaming experiences I have had the displeasure of enduring. After the introduction you talk to your robot which sends you to a town. This town is under attack and you clear out an entire group of bandits. About 15 minutes after that you are given a set of power armor and a mini gun. ~45 minutes into playing this game you are already given top tier gear.

In my run I had to fight a death claw which is one of the most powerful enemies in the franchise. I kill it with ease thanks to my power armor. I am complemented, and imminently gain the trust of the minute men. I am level 3 and already incredibly well off. I have friends, weapons, armor, etc. In the previous games this would be unthinkable.

What the hell happened to Fallout? The game is also locked at 60fps... Yes seriously... What an awful experience. In New Vegas you would keep from death claws as far as possible. You were on your own and it felt like it. You were a survivor and you destiny was in your own hands. Speaking of destiny, wtf is up with the fortune teller? Why do modern games like this fairy tale nonsense? Cyberpunk has a card reader too. Is it an adjustment to a lower denominator? Why are games so shit? I'm going back to playing New Vegas, Touhou, Nox, Metal Fatigue, etc. Fuck modern games, old games run better anyways and look better too.
