>>21494455that's so sad bro. i love and miss all my dead eggs, froglets and baby frogs.
you need to be extremely sterile in everything. literally just breathing near them will harm or kill eggs/froglets.
i only ever had less than 10 froglets die, 3 frogs, and countless eggs.
I grew them in essentially a laboratory setting. i dedicated an entire room and turned it into a clean room basically.
methylene blue is a very good medicine for them but it's not a cure all. and complicated to administer, you need to make a bath for them.
also dart frog eggs sometimes are just bunk and will never produce a fully functioning frog.
>>21494457yeah i sold all 155 of them. i didn't track how much money i spent but i know it was either a complete wash or i lost money.
to be fair i never got into them to make money, just to have the experience.
if anyone has to euthanize a egg, froglet, or frog due to sickness, you can use oragel, it's what they use at the exotic vet and in research settings.
the exotic amphibian vet manual is a really good resource.
