So I have this theory that hyper intelligent people have ascended in a Buddhist/Taoist sort of a way, as in a transcendence of earthly/primitive animalistic interests. They prefer to focus on a quest for spiritual/knowledgeual achievement that's actually a transcendence of, or rather above, base money making, survival struggle and general concern with anything tangibly verifiable by science. Most “smart” people you or I meet are involved in money-related concerns. They could not tell you how many electrons are in an oxygen atom if you offered them a million dollars to do it correctly; all the more true the less educated they are; for their thoughts are on very human practical concerns. The good ones – what I'm going to call "intelligently gifted people" from now on - may have some genuine spiritual interest, but that is often still focused on human concepts; though such intelligent beings often do appreciate things beyond direct human appreciation and may learn the Tao/Buddhist way through art and other forms of the unspoken wordless.
What this leaves me with is the very clear observation of a constant disassociation, difference and above all difficulty inherent in communication between the intelligently gifted and those who are not. Though what's really weird is that, even when an intelligent gifted person knows what you're trying to say, more often than not they won't really comprehend it the way the rest of us do. They'll try to frame it as a technical problem when you're struggling with it as a social/emotional one; and vice versa. The result is always odd and quite often painful.
