Here my memories of each version of Windows that I have used
>3.1
We had this at school. It introduced me to how to use a computer. There was something comfy about it.
>98 SE
On my dad's computer, the first OS I used at home. Played lots of fun classic games on it.
>ME
First OS on a computer that I have owned myself. It really was as bad as people say it is. Froze all the time.
>2000
Got rid of ME and replaced it with 2000 on the same system. Much more stable, very good actually.
>XP
Bit of a rusty start but after the service packs were released it got better. Used it all the way until the end of its life cycle, and even a bit beyond that.
>7
The GOAT OS. Perfect mix between old style usability and (relatively) modern hardware support. I still run it on an 8 year old (offline) gaming PC for certain games.
>10
Not as good as 7, but not the worst either. I use this on my main PC now for my everyday tasks. I did tweak it a bit to minimize Microsoft's bullshit.
>11
Had this on a work laptop for a while, so not my choice. It's cancer. Only ME was worse.
