>>21525876>But this is a purely subjective point of view. Obviously you can choose this if you want, but I personally try to think of a scientific "start of life"And I believe that personhood has no singular distinct start. When a zygote is formed I think of it more along the lines of "the construction managers have met and agreed the blueprints are sound but there is no house yet"
>If you judge it by my parameters, that being start of life begins at complete DNA, then yes it absolutely can. Just give it a few years, good soil to take root and good weather. Yes those are quite hard odds but it is still alive and complete. You almost get what I'm talking about. I'm hinting more towards growth and development.
>this sounds stupid but it really is not. Ever been in a forest damaged by all the animals eating the young trees or sapplings because the hunters didnt kill enough? sure happens alot in austria. Squirrels would just be eating very very young trees from my point of viewMy neighborhood is filled with squirrels. They don't eat saplings, they eat acorns, unsecured trash, cat/dog food, and whatever else they can get their hands on. My neighborhood is also filled with opossums, raccoons, and white tail deer.
