Met this cute average girl on tinder, we had an instant vibe and good connection. Asked her out pretty quickly, she was super excited about it, the first date was amazing, we spent 3 hours together, talked about everything basically. On top of that i sensed mutual attraction. After the date we started texting a lot and even had several hour long phone calls. This is where she told me she has BPD and where i should have ended it all. I ignored it. Wanted to give her a chance because there were also green flags (being open about her BPD, having a Job, going to therapy). Everything seemed so perfect and right. Second date, a week later, and it was even better than the first. We linked arms, got close, talked about us. Butterflies. And both of us got really nervous towards the end. She texts me after the date, tells me it was beautiful. Really thought about making her mine. Since i initated the first 2 dates, i let her decide time and place for our 3rd date and she made plans just 2 days after our second date. I did this to gauge her sincerity and interest and since it was so soon after our second date, i thought this was the perfect time to take things further because her interest was obvious (or so i thought).
Anyway, we planned a cinema date, perfect place to get close (or so i thought) but right at the beginning, i felt she was distant and cold and aloof. I try to lighten things up, joke around, gentle touches and smiles and it seemed to work. She seemed to relax a bit.
