>>21533356Have you never considered that maybe the earth is just bigger than you imagine it to be? You see a hill a dozen miles away and go "Yep! Can still see it, therefore the earth is flat!"
It’s just such an ultimate dimwit position of ONLY believing what’s in front of your very eyes at one moment. It’s one thing to disprove faggot academic "consensus" that is really just the same thing regurgitated by likeminded people over and over, and another to not believe something that has been independently proven by people over the centuries with completely different political beliefs.
You think I simply believe the earth is round because some gayass media personality told me to? No, maybe people believe that because it just makes more logical sense with how the universe works and what we can observe by ourselves.
I mean just something as simple as taking a straight line across an ocean by ship or plane would show you going seemingly in a curve if you mapped it. If the Earth was truly flat this would make no sense, as you would obviously just go straight on a flat plane.
You don’t stop for a second to think that you’re not some persecuted truther that found out what’s real and that what we can observe in the world and space only makes sense if the Earth too is round.
