My girlfriend wants to try shrooms.

The same girlfriend who plans to move in with me, and eventually raise a family. We're both in college right now.

I'd be fine with it, but she has mental illnesses (psychosis, bipolar, depression) and its maintained by proper medication and never is a problem.

Shrooms, however, can trigger a terrible trip in someone as susceptible as her. She's also extremely uneducated on psychedelics and told me she didn't want to try LSD because "LSD is scary" - even though shrooms are very similar and, if not, sometimes worse than LSD trips.

I asked her why she'd want to, and she said "she just decided she will" and has no reason other than that.

I told her it's selfish for her to risk her mental health when her boyfriend is concerned about her.

She calls me selfish for trying to run her life, but it's a logical reason to be concerned given her mental illness.
