Every single time in my life it came for me to step up and defend myself physically or get violent about something I pussied out from fear of punishment either by my parents or by the law. These memories torture me constantly, it's like I can't let this disrespect and humiliation go.
This is the "humiliation ritual", not being able to physically defend yourself or your pride without being severely punished and humiliated by powers larger than you.
