The Tra/bant/ has an awesome user manual.
The assumption in the DDR was that you would have to repair the car yourself, over decades, so the manual explains everything.
There's even the assumption that you won't have the tools to repair the car, so (in the Appendix? I forget) there are instructions on how to build the tools to fix the car.
