a battlefield is an inherently unpredictable place. nothing happens the same way twice. you could play the same gamemode, over and over, and it would never play out the same unless you're fighting the same idiots every time.
between two teams of people who fight like they know what they're doing, it's never the same. it's a constant river of mind games and deception. people act like chess takes a lot of thought, it's like a sunday drive compared to a solid fight between experts, even following the most basic objectives.
the issue is the skill ceiling for fighting with these people is high. which is also why it seems like every new fighting game is pure slop. they've dumbed them down for the average joe so they can participate. they hand out aim assist and all these accessibility changes for losers who don't know how to fight, so you play an older one and suffer through getting good at it.
