So far best games out of not very popular:
1. Elin, Elona - basically acid
2. Earth Defense Force series - Helldivers 2 but on acid and fun and were first and so many things happening
3. Factorio basically
4. Songs of Syx - Dwarf Fortress but fun
5. Sleeping Dogs - GTA but fun
6. Star Sector - one of the best 4x that does not even look like a 4x at first, you only don't know about it because it's not on steam
7. My dystopian robot girlfriend - visual novel but fun
8. Spark 3 - platformer but fun
9. Punisher - Max Payne but fun
10. Textorcist - fast touch typing training but it's without stupid Cirno
11. Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator - stock trading but fun
12. Lisa the painful - something drugs abuse, drugs bad, dev trolls the gaymer
13. Metaphor Refantazio - for those who prefer companion thrust over trust, gayest game in existence, ideal roid tranny treatment
14. Trails of Cold Steel series something - Final Fantasy, but under imageboard influence

You have to be at least a midwit to be a programmer, and this is what some of the best midwits are capable of: cargoculting. And wasting of resources and completely missing the point. And a visibly desperate change of setting, look, our factory builder is so different!
If it wasn't for overall quality of visual design though, nobody would even notice it, everything else is just bad.
I'd say midwits should be barred from influencing any kind of audience by any means. It's like they exist to add complexity in the wrong place.

Definitely Orebound is being made by the kind of people who love to slap 1024x1024 textures on cubic voxels and think that's harmony. This is just sad. We need an inappropriate game curator, somebody must post game reviews online which completely obliterate self-esteem of those who make and buy garbage. If it's on /v/ you have to be a namefag, that's mandatory these days, and you have to be a /lit/fag in addition, that's also mandatory. Modern internet has completely forgot about what is bad and why, so they can't avoid it. Remember: there is nothing more powerful than public shaming, you can literally change the industry.

I actually never played Timestalkers, I believe it can't be bad, but I am not sure if it's any good, I see a 3 hours any% speedrun, and it's jRPG

time stalkers is odd. its decent but also lacks a few things and is a bit slow paced. but if you can get past that and get past the first dungeon and start to get stronger and unlock more of the world it gets better. you end up getting access to a bunch of different vmu games and apps to build your monsters you capture in training and stuff on the vmu and a bunch of other things. you get some allies in the games story and can use them and also as I mentioned monsters to capture and train and stuff. its decent enough I keep playing it and seeing more of the game but its initially kind of hard to really get into and past that early part that isnt that good at sucking you in especially with the back to level 1 and relying on gear to get stronger after every dimension. I like it and its really grown on me after I powered through the rough intro hours.

I now remember Landstalker, legendary game.
Tamagochi stuff is kind of fun, but somehow, it was never really expanded upon to this day: saw Monster Rancher but it's too conservative, lame.
Chao Garden was the real game all along, Sonic Adventure was the mini-game.

It always looked fresh due to how many enemies there are on the screen, but now Assassin Creed copied it, so idk. But if I am not mistaken Assassin Creed with it's nu dev team cant even render a half of what Dynasty Warriors does. If only they knew.
I am completely 180 on my previous claim about that gamedev programmers are often pretty exceptional because of sheer amount of logic and optimization they have to deal with. They are as bad, I saw it with my own eyes. I am convinced Dynasty Warriors code is most probably bad too.

So it was developed by EmberForge(extremely derogatory, it's from World Of Warcraft again and also a jewelry workshop), and it's their first game, and it's extremely amateur in too many ways, and it's UE5. Fucking retards

Here is another Tamagochi experience, Monster Breeder. it does look like an upgrade conceptually, but aside from breeding/mixing monsters with alchemy, it all looks and sounds unsettlingly bad. It is being developed by one man though, who is maybe too autistic to understand what sounds and looks bad, not sure. I wouldn't be able to play it. Dwarf Fortress ascii looks better than this
