A lot can be raked open, or even combed if it's really badly designed. Raking is same procedure as picking but instead of carefully manipulating each pin you just slide the pick across the whole lot repeatedly. On cheap locks they will helpfully slot themselves in to place without resistance and you're in. Combing is when the manufacturer neglected to prevent the most braindead exploit of pin tumbler locks that has existed over a century. If the lock allows you to push all pins completely above shear line, you just need the right shaped tool, looks like a tiny comb, insert, turn, lock open. Master Lock made a padlock that could be opened like that in the last ten years.
