Can anything good come out of reddit these days? Or is it 100% cooked?

It's not even just about politics, normal people are leaving it very fast I think. If it was just that it's all lefties it wouldn't be that bad.

I've been talking to some redditors on private chat from a sub about a niche topic, and they turned out to be so fucking weird I just deleted my account. And I'm not a normie at all. But they turned out to be a guy who talked like he was 13yo and was telling me about having an argument with his dad because the dad got the wrong fast food for him and how he's frustrated with his dad but has to live with him etc, and he turned out to be over 40 years old. Also some fucking idiot who is so autistic that I was unironically wondering if he was an AI bot. And a black single mom. What the fuck.
