>>21714421The three are always lumped together in the USA and other countries, but Mayans and especially Aztecs have way more connections to the USA (Utzo-Aztec trade routes and languages, etc.) and nothing to do with the Incas
Like there is no shared history between Mesoamericans and Incans, different civilization cradles (Olmecs vs Caral), not even remotely linguistic connections, no migrational waves (if you don't count the ones like 15,000y ago), no direct trade routes (save perhaps a late one with natives of coastal Ecuador/Colombia) etc.
So it is understandable that they had their differences in governments, tech development etc
