I had bought my first "smartphone" from my part-time school job, right before android phones came out
I had a blackberry which was really cool but then shortly after the iPhone and android phones came out, their app stores were infinitely better than blackberries shitty one at the time.
There was no Instagram, vine, or any other hip and fun social media at the time for blackberry. I think all they had was Facebook but I could already use Facebook via the BB internet browser.
Then when I finally got an android, vine had died, but I got turned onto Instagram hard. Thought it was so cool talking to all these random ppl based on cool pics and vids they upload, even met some friends I made from there
