I feel like the key to getting better is iteration. When kids draw they don't care if their stuff is bad, they don't care that the anatomy or perspective suck, they just want to draw the cool robot they saw on TV or whatever, and if they keep doing that, then by the time they are in their mid teens they are good enough to mog 90% of
>>>/ic/. I feel like if I want to improve I first have to make drawing feel effortless, and for that I have to draw a lot, even if most of it sucks. I have to force myself to draw faster, but at the same time I don't want to feel pressured. Fast but not rushed, I need to learn to have fun with the pencil, and stop seeing drawing as a chore.
