Ethiopians are not Bantus, but a distinct ethnicity and race all their own, it seems. Even Ethiopian culture is entirely unique, with Ethiopia being the only sub-Saharan African country to have developed its own written language, monumental architecture, large cities etc. -- all markers of civilization -- beginning thousands of years ago. Ethiopia is one of the world's oldest civilizations, being one of the half dozen places in the world to develop agriculture independently.
Ethiopian voices are not black voices but sound White when you meet an Ethiopian without an Amharic or Oromo or whatever other accent. Black people in America and Europe, descended from Bantus, have distinctly black voices even when they speak a European language in the proper accent. Yet Ethiopians with no accent sound just like a White or other Caucasian person.
Asians also have "White" voices when they have no accent. In fact, there are only two distinct kinds of voices: Black and White. And only Bantu blacks have black voices.
So are Ethiopians White or at least generally Caucasian or Caucasoid? After the Ethiopian army under Menelik II defeated an army of tens of thousands of Italians in the 1896 Battle of Adwa, thus assuring Ethiopia would remain the only uncolonized country in Africa, European scholars looked into the racial history of Ethiopian people and found them to be White or Caucasoid, similar to how Arabs and Berbers are White.
