there goes my brain again. back to wearing that medical wristband i suppose. Had i brought my water boots i'd have been dead in a flooded mine

searching for a mineshaft, which i found, but if was flooded. I have a pickaxe and plan to dredge the entrance (much easier than it sounds) and to later explore it once tts unflooded

yeah, people love exploring places but not if they are water logged. This place obviously hasnt been touched in a looooong time so im gonna dig a small canal which will slowly drain the tunnel and then go in and probably be the first in a few decades. Canal doesnt have to be big, just a few inches wide and deep enough to be ground level to the mine. Time and gravity will do the rest of the work for me

no, all the mines in my geographic area are clay mines. We have brick houses and brick sidewalks and brick roads that are 100 years old and outlive structures made of anything else. The reason towns where i live even exist are built upon clay mining operations. I won't find some 'hidden treasure' other than the experience itself

i spent 30 minutes digging a tiny trench to let the water flow out to be the first one in a long while to enter is treasure enough for me
