I'm single/watch mostly moe/yuri anime./have grandiose borderline delusional childish dreams that haven't changed since I was a kid, but somehow I feel more mature than a slim majority the people I know. I feel like most people are still children that have merely deluded themselves into thinking that they are any better than anyone else. I'm a bit of a spastic weirdo, but at least I'm honest to myself about it.
A lot , not all, but a lot of normoids live their lives on easy mode and think that things are going good because they're such model humans, but once things fall apart/get real, they lose their shit and realize they never really did grow up either. You see this in quite a few 40 or 50 something boomers and 30 or 40 something millennials. Don't get me wrong, I know a few old men that really are mature that I respect, but I feel as though they're the minority.
