But Russia. Fuck yes. They are nothing but a huge fucking pain.
They break every deal so you can't ever trust them. They have their bot farms, and run disinformation campaigns in other countries. And then you get to the militarily destabilizing they are trying everywhere they are present.
It's a nightmare to be its neighbor. I don't mind a Russian trawler coming into harbor, and for the crew to have fun for a few days as the local wharf tunes up the ship before they get out again. But it's the lying about what they catch in which waters, and that the always seem to manage to include at least one spy who "sneakily" tale pictures of security installations.
Why?
Why are they so fucking adamant about being the bad guys? Why do they view friendship as a weakness? 'They' here meaning the leaders of Russia, not Russians in general.
It's just baffling.
