I wonder if people who have unhealthy microbiomes have them because of some genetic quality or if its just that their relatives didn't give them the right germs, since you get most of your microbiome from your mother. And since most people have been on antibiotics at some point, many family lines may have compromised microbiomes.
I started doing kefir/kombucha about a year ago and i've lost body fat despite being the same weight and exercising about the same amount and my shits are flawless, second square of toilet paper comes back stark white. it's one of those experiences that makes you start questioning everything you knew to be normal.
