The thing you think are "reptilians" are old school demons. These things exist in a parasitic relationship with their human hosts. Many old American families with their presence going back to the early colonial era (think Mayflower, Jamestown, that era) have multi-generational pacts with these demons. The demon will give its host secret information and instructions so that its host enjoys some material gain. In return, the demon gradually corrupts the host and leverages their worldly power to enact greater and greater pain on the wider world. Over a long enough timeline, the host will be so severely subjugated that the genuine human is nearly erased, the host becoming a totally demonic organism. The host will perpetuate this infection to its offspring, passing down demonic possession much like an heirloom or special inheritance. These families consider this a high honor.
There are many modes of becoming possessed. What distinguishes this from more pedestrian forms of possession is that the host is actively seeking out the demon to take their body, and cooperates fully with the demon in life. Young children and possibly even babies are inculcated into this mystery religion. It's likely that some of them are unaware that they were infected and just interpret the demon's commands as their own internal thoughts.
When you suspect that someone is a reptilian, it is this demonic entity which you are sensing. You feel every fiber of your being screaming "RUN - FIGHT" but you can't rationalize what it is.
