This nonsense about life after death is just an invention of the ego, because the ego wants to be immortal, there is no evidence of any such thing as an afterlife.
After death we will simply cease to exist, as it was before we were born, this sucks because the implications of this are nihilistic, no afterlife means no divine creation, life is just a cosmic coincidence, everything is random and chaotic, we are just a product of millions of years of natural selection.
I would really like to live with my furry waifus if an afterlife existed, but I know that will never happen and the eternal void is our destiny after death.
