I don't know if you know this but if you want, you can get your car washed by the high school teams, boy or girl, in most towns in the US. They usually do a much better job than the for profit places.
One time I was in Atlanta and there was a car wash in front of a black Church which seemed to be mostly African people, like FOB, and I went in there and they were the nicest folks, they had food, stories, we sat in the shade and drank hibiscus flower drink while the car wash was going (my wife and I) with the elders.
Frankly it's cute to see teenage girls wash your car but the Africans did a better job and it seemed more wholesome somehow.
