I download whole albums first and then listen to maybe a few songs I know. It's a lot of bytes that I can only store at my pc now, I wouldn't call it a waste but it does feel like an overkill.

ohh okay. i have a drive with a few TB of whole albums (~4TB), then on my c drive i have much smaller folder (~250GB) of individual tracks. i then copy that smaller folder to my laptop and phone
