why do christian artists always give the saints & religious figures beautiful features?
i was a catholic once and, almost 30 years ago, i saw a painting of the virgin mary where the artist gave her a face almost identical to winona ryder.
it was very awkward for me to be sexually attracted to the mother of god when i first saw that. kek.
