The reason I'm not considering joining christianity again is that it is contradictory and just doesn't give me all the answers I need. Why don't animals deserve the same compassion from God just because they were created before men? Why can angels become demons but not viceversa? Why didn't Jesus explain the origin of suffering and its end? The compassion of buddhism is really universal and its reach extends to all the realms of the world, an animal or a demon can be reborn again as a man and achieve nirvana in the next life because eternal damnation is an oxymoron in samsara. Buddhism is everything christianity wanted to be and failed to achieve.
