So there is this god/demon from Mesopotamian mythology named Ishtar and I think understanding her is the key to everything.
She is explicitly mentioned in the Epic of Gilgamesh, where Gilgamesh rebukes her sexual advances and she unleashes a mighty bull to kill him but him and Enkidu beat the bull.
I mention this because contrary to popular belief, Gilgamesh may have actually been real and a nephillim, not a demigod, which is a cross between the fallen angels and humans they misgenated with.
