He used to post a lot of Poland street food back in the day. Stuff like "I'm drunk and eating this [insert some polish street food].
He also post pics like "celebrating job succession" with a pizza".

I think he tends to stuff himself with the slopiest of slops and then goes on an extreme diets like these thermos meals for a few dies to make himself feel better.

Most of the heat used in cooking is wasted since it just goes up into the air, if you put the boiling water in a thermos it will stay hot enough to cook your gruel without the need to keep a stove running.

Not a pressure cooker.
It has a "thermal well" that you heat up, cook about an hour, then shut it down and seal it tight. Food cooks on retained heat using no power for several hours after. Same principle as OPs thermos cooking, except larger, easier, more energy efficient.

Because you need to simmer soups for a half hour to properly develop flavour, and heat works differently on various ingredients determining their order and when they get added.
Works a treat for noodle dishes, though.

using a pressure cooker is probably the single best way to save energy for cooking. and no, its not the same as soaking stuff in hot water, it actually cooks things. no more bubbling stuff for hours in an open pan. rice done in minutes, chicken legs falling off the bone in 15 or so. everything is done in at least half the usual time.

A pressure cooker makes you able to make a 3 hour stew in just 1 hour. The meat gets so tender with these, usually use chuck roast beef.
I even cook eggs in it.
