>>22036184tears coming out of your eyes in response to the quale of profound human emotion isn't the same thing as being a whiny pussy
actually unpick the thought in your mind (if it is a thought, and not just a knee-jerk feeling you can't explain because it's been programmed into you):
is it that crying is bad, or is it more - that feeling emotion is bad, especially as a man? (it's the latter, which is what we call Stoicism in the West)
who has conditioned me to believe that feeling emotion is bad?
how do they benefit, from programming me to be silent regarding my emotions?
it's not your parents and grandparents, because they're just parroting it exactly like you're parroting it
this concept in your head of 'tears = bad' - where does it come from? from whom does it originate? why?
"adults shouldn't cry" - then why do they? what purpose does this release of emotion serve, and who might benefit from controlling your emotions?
"just shut up and take it and feel nothing" doesn't seem like an idea that you've had that serves you well
strength is good, but is being unable to express one's emotions actually a strength? deliberately atrophying a part of your human experience... for what? for who?
cui bono, robot?
