Why is it a thing in western culture for men to remove their hair and leave it short and looking like some ugly dysgenic tomboy dyke hermaphrodite?

As we become men from boys our retarded society expects boys to cut their hair extremely short yet never shave off pubic hair or body hair.

While we're still not yet middle aged adults and can still look younger than our ages, why not let your hair grow long and style it how you like it to look nice?
