What if, every time you went to Church on Sunday, as long as you:
>showed up on time
>fasted the whole morning (no food or water)
>said 25 minutes of prayers before you left
>went to Confession within the last couple weeks
>arrived not having any grudges or being unreconciled with anyone you know
What if you did all these things and approached Holy Communion, and after receiving the Eucharist from the spoon, the priest handed you a check for $20,000?
Would you go?
Would you go every Sunday?
What if it were just $10,000?
What if it were only $1000? Would you go every week?
The purpose of this exercise, of course, is because none of those numbers come close to what you actually get from Holy Communion.
>"Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has everlasting life"
