Whatever they say is what you have to counter with clear reasoning and common sense.
It's very easy when you can use the founding of the United States as a basis to operate from, because it eliminates both foreign and domestic attempts of a takeover.
Right now, they want to get rid of Teddy Roosevelt because he is a right-wing, republican and a progressive monopoly buster at the same time. It kills their narrative.
So telling me not to watch the news is counter productive. It's best to realize that it is a war, and to not get bogged down in the tactics they are using to demoralize you and bog you down.
They have maintained power by confusing the population. Too bad they have lost, since we have identified that this is about individual sovereignty, the right to speech and arms, and the right to own your own property. Anything that erodes that is the enemy. They are focused on economic arguments of capitalism vs socialism.
When in reality who cares? It's about the distribution of power and authority. They will use either socialism or capitalism as a tool to gain more power and control. The counter to that is decentralized republican confederationism based on the constitution and the bill of rights.
That is their enemy. They will use immigrants, religion, direct democracy, economics, technology, disinformation, whatever they can to erode the ability for the common man to challenge their position. That way they can use emotion to manipulate people, rather than having to rely on representative government, logic and reason, or whatever slow process keeps them from taking over.
The only excuse they have is national security concerns, which are easily dismantled when using logic. They are the class of beauracrats that lost every military battle in history due to incompetence.
