connection because they use cartridges and discs you buy in a store then bring home.
You also need to be sitting on a couch that has two long cushions instead of three short cushions
because couches that have three short cushions instead of two long cushions suck ass.
You can pause your game then hit prev ch on your remote to switch from the input channel to Comedy Central, Cartoon Network, or TechTV.
You also have a stack of Nintendo Powers because you subscribed to it.
Sitting on a desk chair looking at a 22" LCD panel sucks compared to sitting on a couch WATCHING a 27" screen.
Couches make better beds THAN BEDS.
It was a better way of life.
I'd much rather have a DVD player hooked up to a TV set than play them on the DVD drive my shitty little desktop rig has.
The couch is the ultimate form of bed and chair.
YouTube making everything available to everyone meant we all discovered our backlogs weren't that long,
and that the illusion of life having lots of substance to it was created by the delay of media delivery.
However, you could play Sonic 3 & Knuckles for hours, Sonic Adventure 2, Super Mario All Stars, Super Metroid, Majora's Mask, etc.
Now, I have to do that shit sitting on a miserable desk chair that has no springs.
I can't lay back diagonally because the back of my chair is perfectly vertical whereas a couch lets my lay back into the soft back.
I hate bending my neck to look down at a phone screen when I could be looking straight ahead at a picture tube;
you don't bend your neck to watch TV because it's right in front of you.
No one hold their phone right in front of their face: They hunch over it.
When you're using a computer you hunch over it, which sucks: Hunching over shit sucks.
One of the biggest reasons picture tubes were better was that they were directly in front of a couch,
unless you were an idiot who put theirs perpendicular to it.
