Personally I wouldn't do it myself and can't tolerate being around it or it's fanatics at length.
That said, I think legalizing it is the best idea and adults should be free to use it.
Police/tax funds are wasted trying(and failing) to stop people from getting a buzz from something less harmful than alcohol or cigarettes, they could be stopping rape/murder/theft/assault instead.
It would generate taxable income, jobs and would tremendously reduce illegal drug trafficking from our borders(known to fund other crime/terrorism).
I think weed "culture" is garbage however.
legalizing it might end that as well as it becomes less taboo/rebellious and more mundane.
