Yes, Apple is shit, no I don't know why the hell anyone uses them. They're easy to migrate from one computer to another and the build quality is usually pretty good, and that's about it. Thankfully, there aren't very many macs at this university. There were tons at the previous one I worked at.

Yeah of course not because the apple ecosystem is super expensive, not very robust and getting out of it is a nightmare. Most enterprise environs are Microsoft to take advantage of things like Windows AD (apples is garbage), Azure/Entra and O365. You couldn't have a more worthless cert.
