>>22134048Good for you. It's progress. Now, whether you feel like it or not, whether you're inspired or not, sit your ass down for nine hours and work hard – but also intelligently! – on your music everyday. That's what will make a difference. Don't know if it will make the difference but everyone I seen who was successful in classical music at LEAST did that – can't imagine it's would be sooo different in music production.
In any case, just pick a name. I was trying to do something that sounds cute and kawai and had to do with the Buddhist number 32 (32 marks of perfection) but it all fell apart. Why Buddhism? Because Japan's partly Buddhist. But you're not Buddhist. In a social sphere such as art, Japanese people probably –especially at the independent artist level –want more authenticity. So, you're gonna have to dig into yourself and research stuff and then come to a (temporary) name. E.g. The opposite of "shy" and something you might strive for is "confidence" or "self assurance". Then you can look up symbols or numbers or images or myths or stories or whatever. Then assign a name by the traits of the image you saw, borrow the name of a person from a story, or put letters or numbers in a picture or symbol of "confidence" you saw, mash them together and make a name. Because I write a lot, it sounds hard, but it really isn't.
Good luck and ciao for now. We'll be listening.
