some people gently lower themselves until oxygen runs out. while that's one way, snapping the neck would probably be preferable as you can skip out on the numbness and convulses feeling. that might sound scary, but really what people are afraid is pain. well, once your body realizes it's fucked up those pain sensory don't really activate anymore. your body just focuses on healing itself than telling you to get away from the pain and it's sort of calm in that moment. maybe it's from the rush of endorphins. maybe it's from the dmt. instead of a gradual numbness (that's scary because it feels like you're really losing yourself), you get a blip and then peace
