>>2216494Yes. Sorta. SOME OF Quebec wanted to separate, because of perception of abuse from the federal government and other provinces. We held a couple of referendums about it, and they were basically a 49/51 split in favor of staying part of Canada.
The various actual abuses have since subsided a lot, and Quebec has a lot more autonomy. The Eternal Anglo is still a menace even to some local anglophones, though.
