I’m a single financially successful white male in my 40’s who’s given up on dating. I’ve worked hard and sacrificed my whole life to build a good career. I own a house, nice cars, cabin in the mountains, etc.
I wanted to marry my high school girlfriend, but she left me in college to go party and find herself. I was poor and working full time while doing an engineering major. I didn’t have time or money to taker her out to clubs or fancy restaurants. Next serious girlfriend left me for the same reason.
I wanted a wife to stand by my side while I built a life for us. The women wanted to party their youth away with the expectation that they would land a high status man in their 30’s. Why should they struggle and build something when it could just be handed to them?
Now they want the benefit of all my hard work and sacrifice, after they were unwilling to walk the difficult path with me. Fuck no. I’d rather be alone. I’ll burn it all down before I give a roastie anything.
If either of the women had stayed, they wouldn’t have to work and could just focus on being a good wife and mother.
