Old ladies are always complimenting me on an almost weekly basis. I had one two days ago at Walmart tell me she thought I was Donnie Wahlberg. Another one a few weeks ago complimented my outfit at some sandwich shop.

Meanwhile all women my age are juggling three kids or buried in their cellphones unaware of my existence in the same room as them.

have you ever tried dating or getting the number of an older lady when one compliments you? Its usually older ladies who complement me, either for my fashion or the color of my eyes (grey) which i awkwardly reply "thanks i try" which is meant to be a joke since its an unchangable thing

I've been hurt enough times by people i cared about that relationships can feel repulsive as well but deep down i still have a desire to just not be alone. Sorry you got divorced, that must suck.
