>>22201996Well the words "productive" and "socialized" and even "creative" can all mean extremely bad things.
Is getting up at 7am every day to work for the man "productive" despite never doing anything of significance in your whole life and maybe even harming people, but getting paid for it so it's considered "productive"? Like let's say, to use your example on itself, you make videogames - is that "productive"? What about if you make vaccines that cause a lot more harm than good, is that productive? The vast majority of jobs are in fact bullshit so, there's "productive" problems.
Socialized too can be extremely abused. If you meet with friends and play videogames with them, you can become really socialized. On the other hand you can become "socialized" like on American Psycho or like how people talk on LinkedIn (same thing pretty much) and is that really actual healthy socialized? Of course not.
I don't think it's possible to say for sure if videogames are a good or bad thing, there are arguments either way. But some fun in life, can it really be a bad thing?
A lot of people say that the older you get the more you begin to realize what's "really important", implying that stuff like videogames is just bullshit. However it's equally a mistake to dismiss videogames and anything like television as some waste of time - and then wonder why you're autistic and noone likes you.
