A select few things happened that totally burned me out. No will to "live". I'm alive because the body continues, not the spirit.
I don't think about death. Fear of death is a physiological phenomena little different than the need for food. It will probably suck when it happens but hopefully it won't take long.
I am open to God to bless me or grant me his grace and change my mind, but at this point that's the only thing that will change things for me.
I feel like that's the answer you will get from many people here. Ultimately a "I am open to change but lack the drive to enact it myself".
A few lucky souls are happy or unhappy + still trying. Most are ashes or embers of an their older flame.

Yes and no. I made a whole bunch of money when I was younger now I’ll never have to work again I already bought and splurged a long time ago so nothing like that excites me I’ve traveled all over and live in one of the best cities to live in in America I have a fully paid for brand new (built 2023) house in one of the other best cities in America. I’m really bored and I get a weird feeling like I’m not doing anything I’m one of the best in the world at what I did and now that I don’t do it anymore i feel a little useless.

It’s like I already completed all the quest in the game and I’m just dealing with NPCs

Thankfully I still have my parents I’m 41 now so I try to spend time with them as much as I can.

It’s a strange life.

In and of itself, dying doesn't scare me much. What scares me is the degeneration of the body and especially the mind that often precedes death. Imagine getting a heart attack or a stroke that leaves you severely brain-damaged and permanently disabled, instead of killing you. THAT is bad. Just thinking about it makes me want to preemptively kill myself when I hit 50 or 60 or something, so there's your answer: life can be much scarier than death.

They're tied together the lack of progress in life, which is my disappointment in where I am is my "no" on the first question.
Seeing as I'm no where, where I want to be I cannot fear death as I have nothing to lose if I died so I cannot fear death.
Doesn't mean I want to challenge it, I just know that when the time comes, I'll have no quarrels that I couldn't experience this or that as my life sucks and that's mostly money related..
