/Pol/'s constant efforts to "figure out women" are garbage. Our present society has both misandry and misogyny problems. Sexists are terrible people, and in the internet era, anyone with the faintest inclination to find sexists can just do so. This causes people who suspect misandry/misogyny to be influencing their life to find "confirmation" and then harden into "the reciprocal" by becoming themselves the opposite kind of sexist.
I wouldn't fix this by censoring the internet or anything. People just need to consciously therapy-talk themselves into accepting that the problem is Never All Men and it's Never All Women. The feminist campaigns to insist, "Yes All Men" were 100% misandristic and only fed further reciprocal misogyny.
It's dehumanizing to stereotype all men or all women with things. It'd be dehumanizing even if the stereotypes were positive. Tons of men pedestalize women even today, and it prevents them from seeing women as individual people. The stereotypes that I'm thinking of right now aren't positive. Women are stereotyped as unfeeling and incapable of seeing past the prejudices that make them uncompassionate to the vast majority of men, while men have in stereotype been reduced to their phallic urges, treating them as incapable of compassion and motivated solely by a need to breed. It's treated that everything a man does, says, supports, or acquires is motivated by his reproductive strategy. Alienated men treat themselves as cold and brainless breeders just as viciously as misandristic women do it to them!
Look for virtue in this world. The eye that seeks virtue will find it; the eye that seeks corruption will find it. Try to find what is good about people and being nice to them will make more sense. This advice is good for the goose and it's good for the gander. It's good even in the fight against oppression, for it is the eye that seeks virtue which binds people together.
